FLX

The FLX is designed for the urban adventurer who loves both comfort and power. The frame is shaped to give you a relaxed and pleasant riding position. Two adults fit easily on the elongated saddle, but of course you can also spread out on it on your own.

With a range of up to 100 km, the FLX is perfect for longer rides. The display shows both current and average consumption and has a special range indicator. That way you always know how many kilometres you can still ride, with the weather conditions taken into account as well.

PHATFOUR designed the Direct Drive System especially for the FLX, which makes the assistance available immediately. This gives a smooth and quick start and makes riding even more comfortable up to a speed of 25 km/h. As you would expect from PHATFOUR, the hydraulic brakes from A-brand Shimano provide plenty of stopping power.

The Drivetrain

• The latest rear hub motor from Bafang, the G062 rear wheel motor, is the strongest in its class at 80Nm
• The FLX is the first fatbike with Direct Drive technology. Thanks to clever software improvements to the rotation sensor, the bike comes out of the starting blocks incredibly fast. That makes a throttle unnecessary, and you do not need to put your feet down when you hold on to the pole at a traffic light.
• The display has the following special features:
• Range indicator, showing how many kilometres you can still ride. This indicator takes your overall average consumption into account in combination with the consumption of the past 5 minutes. The bike also allows for the temperature, since batteries perform less well in the cold.

• Average consumption in Wh/km
• Available with 500Wh EVE cells and a 750Wh battery with LG cells.
• In the right weather conditions, the 750Wh battery lets you cover 100 km in just 4 hours before it is empty (consumption 7.5Wh/km).
• The FLX uses a rotation sensor, so in the highest setting you move along effortlessly.
• Several levels of assistance have also been developed for the FLX, so you can ride different speeds more smoothly and are encouraged to pedal along. This gives a more pleasant ride, because the bike feels very natural.

Safety

• Handy eyelet on the frame to attach an extra lock, making it harder to steal your battery.
• The frame number is not only in the frame, but also built into the bike's electronics. That means the frame number cannot be removed, which makes it harder to fence a stolen bike. The same applies to various other parts on the bike.
• A tracker can optionally be fitted, so the FLX is easy to recover in case of theft.
